We want to provide the lowest carbon footprint and the most sustainable dairy ingredients to the world’s biggest companies. It’s a powerful ambition, but we’re confident we can achieve it.
To do it, we’re putting sustainability at the forefront of our future strategy, and we have big plans across our entire operations. It all starts with the help and support we give our farmers.
The average CO2 emissions per litre from our farms is already 64% lower than the global average and 16% better than the UK average. We want to reduce that even further, with an additional 10% reduction from 2021 levels by 2025.
We’re doing this by sharing tools to help farms record and report on their carbon footprint and by helping our farmers become more aware of sustainable practices.
We don’t just focus on sustainability because we know it’s important for our customers and for the environment. We know it’s incredibly important for our farms too. We understand the challenges our farmers face, and we know how to overcome them.
More efficient farming operations means more resilience during tough times. More smart, sustainable farming practices means more financial security and more growth. By sharing our advice and guiding our farms on their sustainable journeys, we help them reach their full potential.
